The debate often centers around whether beauty, function, and durability can coexist, or if one must be sacrificed for the others. However, this studio tries to balances these principles. The focus is on translating the habits and needs of the residents into the design. An important aspect was converting the attic into a co-housing space, where one family member can access all necessary amenities without complete isolation. The tasteful design integrates practical storage solutions that blend seamlessly into the overall aesthetic. Layered elements and more than five sliding doors in various combinations create an ever-changing space that tells a unique story for each resident. The 50 m² studio features a living room with a gas fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, shower room with toilet, bedroom, and dressing room. The compact yet functional design demonstrates that practicality need not come at the expense of style. The focus is on accommodating the personal habits of the residents.
