NOOK #2: STRUCTURAL INGENUITY: THE BUILDING BLOCKS OF INTERIORS
24 juni 2025

This edition focuses on interiors in which aesthetics and technology reinforce each other. Designs by interior architects who enjoy the challenge of using materials in unconventional ways and as efficiently as possible, defying gravity and creating a sense of lightness in their constructions.
This issue also highlights a high-profile construction in which inclusivity is central: the Serpentine Pavilion by Sumayya Vally. This pavilion is constructed from architectural fragments that originate in London's migrant communities, resulting in a sculptural structure in which diverse cultures come together in a powerful way.
Our editorial team had fascinating conversations with Dirk Jan Postel, Det van Oers, Sumayya Vally and progressive agencies such as Superuse Studios, cepezed, Shigeru BanArchitects, Studio Ruim and Pezo von Ellrichshausen, among others.
We are proud to present our latest issue of NOOK, launched yesterday, about the love of construction, materials and spatial layering:
